Mit Hilfe der ermittelten Bandenparameter, Standard- und Kalibrierspektren aus den Infrarot-Messungen an H-O- und C=O-Bindungsgruppen enthaltenden Substanzen erfuhr die Methodik zur infrarotspektroskopischen Beobachtung der Reaktionen als auch die Interpretation eine wesentliche Unterstützung.
